Digital accessibility

We wish to ensure that all visitors to the digital learning resource of the History of Sweden can find the information they need for their school lessons. The goal is for our visitors to be able to take advantage of our lessons in a straightforward way, regardless of functional capacity.

How we work with accessibility

We base our website design on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The WCAG guidelines describe how web content should be adapted to be more user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We have chosen level AA as the goal for the digital learning resource.

Partners

We collaborate with the web agency Bazooka and the Agency Axess Lab, which conducts user testing on our website based on the WCAG guidelines.
